Zoom Update

You may have received a notice this week to update your Zoom application to Version 5.0. If you have not updated yet you will be required to update by Monday June 1st. The Zoom upgrade enables multiple new features including GCM encryption, which increases the strength of encryption used in Zoom calls. There are a few additional features that will be enabled including: reporting a user, enabling waiting rooms, lock meeting and removing participants.

This update is also a healthy reminder to not forget about patching our phones. Recent studies have shown that mobile phone attacks are an emerging threat and the easiest way to protect yourself is to keep your mobile devices up to date.
