Day One: Welcome & Introduction to Accounting Careers
- Learn about careers in accounting, including private vs. public accounting.
- Gain insight into the CPA exam process.
Day Two: Tax Fundamentals
- Complete a simple 1040 tax form and small business return example.
- Participate in a financial statement review activity.
Day Three: Audit Essentials
- Learn what auditors do and analyze financial statements to identify patterns.
- Perform a sample review.
Day Four: Accounting in Action
- Discover the broader scope of accounting beyond bookkeeping.
- Game and celebrate your accomplishments with a graduation ceremony.
